Before recording, remove or hide private documents, personal identifiers, payment information, and unrelated notifications. Start the recording before the first step that causes the issue and stop after the error or unexpected result appears.
Add the device model, operating-system version, app version, and a short written description. A recording is useful only when it does not expose sensitive information.
